How Our Mobile Auto Repair Service Works
At Cruise Control Convenient Car Care, we provide professional mobile auto repair with a clear, transparent process - so you always know what to expect before, during, and after your service visit.
1. Contact Us & Tell Us What You're Experiencing
You can reach us by phone or through our online booking form. Let us know what you're experiencing - such as a no-start condition, warning lights, drivability concerns, fluid leaks, brake issues, or routine maintenance needs. We know it's tempting to get a price right away, but vehicle issues can have multiple causes. To avoid guesswork, we inspect the vehicle first and then provide a clear, written estimate. Your description helps us schedule the appropriate service visit.
2. Schedule a Mobile Service Visit
Choose a time and location that works for you - home, work, or another safe location.
Every appointment begins with a professional on-site inspection so we can accurately assess the issue and determine the appropriate next steps.
Service visit pricing:
- $140 minimum for general inspections, maintenance concerns, brake evaluations, and straightforward issues
- $175 starting rate for more complex concerns such as check engine lights, no-start conditions, and drivability problems, which require in-depth diagnostic testing and analysis
When a concern requires diagnostic time, testing, and problem-solving to identify the root cause, the diagnostic fee covers that professional evaluation and is not automatically applied to the repair.
3. On-Site Inspection & Diagnostic Evaluation
When we arrive, we:
- Inspect the relevant systems
- Perform diagnostic testing when required
- Analyze data and vehicle behavior
- Document findings with photos when applicable
- Identify root causes - not just symptoms
4. Clear, Written Estimate - Before Any Repairs
After the inspection or diagnostic process, you'll receive a clear, written estimate outlining:
- Verified repair needs
- Prioritized recommendations (most important to least)
- Optional services you can consider
To ensure quality, reliability, and warranty coverage, we supply all parts used in our repairs. We don't install customer-supplied parts, as we can't verify quality, fitment, or warranty support on components we didn't source.
5. Approval & Repairs
Once you approve the work, we complete the agreed-upon repairs using quality parts and manufacturer-recommended procedures.
All qualifying repairs are backed by our 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty, similar to what you'd expect from a traditional repair shop.
6. Completion & Payment
After repairs are completed, we review the work performed and answer any remaining questions. Payment is simple and transparent, with multiple options accepted.
